Ceramics Studio Amsterdam offers ceramics and pottery courses and workshops for adults (beginners and advanced). The Ceramics Studio is a beautiful, bright, and high-ceilinged 70m² space with a double story, professionally equipped with a ceramic kiln, a glaze cabinet, and a pressure sprayer for glazing. You will be guided by visual artist/ceramic artist Marjan de Voogd (www.marjandevoogd.nl).

I invite you to explore the diverse range of courses and experience the world through the versatile medium of clay. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, my classes are customized to suit your interests and skill level. You can learn and practice various clay techniques, such as wedging, pinching, slabbing, sculpting, coiling, hand-building, casting, decorating, and glazing.
My courses offer different types of clay, coloured slip (aka engobe), and glazes for you to choose from. You will also enjoy the collaborative and creative atmosphere of my studio, where you can exchange your ideas and inspirations with other participants from all over the world, and express yourself through functional or decorative pottery, sculptures, and other works.
